Cancellation Policy

If you decide to cancel

  • For cancellations made 4 weeks prior to departure, 50% of the trip cost will be retained.

  • For cancellations made 3 weeks prior to departure, the full trip cost will be retained.

Once the journey has started, no refunds are issued for any portion of the trip or services not used.

In some situations, and at our discretion, your deposit may be transferred as credit towards another trip.

If Made by Afous cancels, alters, or postpones a trip

We reserve the right to cancel bookings at any time. Should this occur, a full refund will be provided as final settlement.

If we are required to postpone a trip due to force majeure (such as extreme weather, strikes, conflict, or similar events), you will receive either:

  • a full credit to use on a future trip, or

  • a refund, minus any card processing fees.

If a trip is cancelled due to insufficient numbers or safety concerns, a full refund will be issued, and no further compensation will be offered.

Refund processing

Refunds are handled within a minimum of 14 working days.

Made by Afous does not cover personal expenses such as non-refundable flights or separately booked accommodation.

Travel insurance

Travel insurance is required for all participants.

We strongly advise waiting for final confirmation of the trip before purchasing flights.
